Alma Ata S1 Midwifery Study Program – Midwifery S1 lecturer, Mrs Muafiqoh Dwiarini, S.ST., M.Sc, Ns-Mid became one of the guest speakers at the University of Nahdlatul Ulama Surabaya (UNUSA) on Tuesday, 7 February 2023. This agenda was attended by Midwifery lecturers at Alma Ata University, Midwifery Lecturers at Nahdlatul Ulama University Surabaya, as well as D3 & S1 Midwifery students from both universities.
In his presentation, he conveyed the topic “Application of Complementary Midwifery Services and Lactation Counselling in the Community”. It is expected that prospective health workers, especially midwives, can provide appropriate lactation counselling for breastfeeding mothers so that the success rate of exclusive breastfeeding increases.
