Alma Ata S1 Midwifery Study Programme – The launching of the Youth Posyandu “Tunas Mekar” has been carried out in Jambean, Triwidadi, Pajangan Bantul. The launching of this Youth Posyandu cannot be separated from the support of the Pajangan Community Health Centre, the midwifery community – Field Study and Community Service (KKN) student team, the support of Triwidadi Village, and the Jambean community.
The Launching activity of Tunas Mekar Youth Posyandu was attended by the Head of Triwidadi Village, Mr. Slamet Riyanto, representatives from the Pajangan Health Centre (midwife Siti Thoharoh, Nanik as PIC Nutrition at government-mandated community health clinics (Puskesmas), and Tyas as Health promotion coordinator of the Pajangan Health Centre), community leaders in jambean, youth groups in jambean, midwifery community service-learning students and midwifery lecturer Mrs. Muafiqoh Dwiarini, M. Sc, Ns-Mid. Prior to this launching activity, the management of the youth Posyandu Tunas Mekar had received training on the 5-table system from the midwifery community service-learning team. After this, the team will receive direct guidance from the Pajangan Health Centre.
The establishment of the Youth Posyandu was enthusiastically welcomed by the residents and received full support from the Head of Triwidadi Village. It is hoped that this Youth Posyandu can prepare adolescents to become healthy adolescents, have sustainable healthy living skills, equip adolescents to prepare for the future towards a creative and insightful planning generation, and can reduce early marriage rates.
