Midwifery Goes to School Reproductive Health Counselling and Free Examination at MA Al-Ma’had An-Nur Bantul

Alma Ata S1 Midwifery Study Programme – Midwifery Goes to School activities have been carried out with the theme “Happiness starts with Good Health”. This event was held on Sunday, 8 January 2023 at MA Al-Ma’had An-Nur Bantul. The activity was welcomed enthusiastically by students. The event began with a free examination including checking blood pressure, weight, height, BMI, and upper arm circumference (LILA) by 3rd-semester students of the S1 Midwifery study programme at Alma Ata University.  After that, counseling on reproductive health was given by a 5th-semester student, Enjela Lala S, and counseling on anaemia in adolescents was delivered by Sulistiawati, a 5th-semester student of S1 Midwifery. In the final session, the introduction of the S1 Midwifery study programme at Alma Ata University was delivered by Lecturer Mrs. Muafiqoh Dwiarini, S.ST., M.Sc, Ns-Mid. Later, the 3 best questioners were rewarded with door prizes. This activity is expected to be able to open new insights for MA students about reproductive health and anaemia in adolescents.
