LABORATORIUM LAB
The Midwifery Laboratory is a facility specifically designed to support the learning and practice of midwifery students, as well as to carry out various types of examinations related to women’s reproductive health. The equipment and facilities in obstetric laboratories vary greatly, depending on their intended use.
Main Functions of the Midwifery Laboratory:
- Practical Learning: Midwifery students can practice clinical skills such as physical examination, sampling, and use of medical equipment.
- Research: Midwifery laboratories can be used to conduct research in the field of midwifery, for example research on adolescent reproductive health or the effectiveness of a contraceptive method.
- Examination: The obstetrics laboratory can be used to carry out simple examinations such as urine examinations, blood tests (for example, blood type), and pap smear examinations.
LIBRARY
The library is an important means for students to explore deeper knowledge. Alma Ata Library is equipped with a collection of textbooks, popular books, scientific journals both national and international and other supporting facilities, among others:
